Community Update - Police Investigation in Parkland Walk, N6

We would like to make local residents aware of a serious incident that is currently being investigated by the Metropolitan Police.

At approximately 10:30pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026, police and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports that a woman had been seriously assaulted in the Parkland Walk area of N6. Officers attended and identified the location where the incident is believed to have taken place.

The investigation is in its early stages and is being led by detectives from the North Area CID. No arrests have been made at this time.

As part of the ongoing investigation, a crime scene remains in place and Parkland Walk remains closed between Northwood Road and Stanhope Road. We appreciate the community's patience and understanding while essential enquiries are carried out, and we ask residents to follow any diversion routes and respect the cordons in place.

Residents will notice an increased police presence in the area over the coming days as officers carry out enquiries and provide reassurance patrols.
